August 2022 – Reducing our carbon footprint
Mathison Engineering Ltd are continually reducing our carbon footprint, from Led lighting to waste management to reducing our power usage.
We can only do this with the help of our workforce us for example recycling packaging instead of landfill, metals to recycling by registered carriers, old waste machine coolant being taken away for processing making sure we are compliant with Environment Agency regulations.
New Online Shop
We will shortly be launching our online shop, selling everything from baseball caps and tools to car parts and consumables.
The idea of the shop is along the lines of the waste management, some engineering plastic is very difficult to dispose of and we machine tons of plastic every year. Quite often we have material bar ends for example , someone would find handy – something for a gate a bracket or their own lathe or mill at home. These pieces may just come in handy.
